What do you think would be the most important question that could be asked or answered? Since the human soul is immortal, no soul ever goes out of existence. Reincarnation is a lie, Soul Sleep is a lie, Evolution is a lie, Annihilation is a lie... So the only question and most important question would be where will I spend eternity? And where and in what condition will that be? There is no "waiting place", no "purgatory". no "Limbo".
There are only 2 places... Heaven and Hell. Why would a loving God send someone to Hell? The answer: I don't know. I do know that God doesn't make mistakes and that everyone that goes to Heaven or Hell for that matter will not be treated the same. Some will have greater rewards in Heaven and some will not be treated as harshly in Hell. Others will fair very badly. I hesitate to even think of their situation. But God is a fair God, just as in life... "you get what you pay for." That's where the Hell part comes in. Since we all have a sin nature (have you ever lied or stolen anything?) Since God is a fair God... payment must be made.
Romans 3:23... "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Romans 5:8... “But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
God in the form of Jesus made our payment for us on the cross.
The payment is free! All you have to do is accept it. Repent of our sins, and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will have eternal life in Heaven.
Romans 6:23... "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The unforgiveable sin I believe is turning our backs on the most wonderful thing that God did for us and the agony that Jesus went through to pay these debts for you and me.
Romans 10:9-10... “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
So there you have it. If you are ready to experience the love of God, be assured of your eternal security in Heaven. Here's what you do:
1. Truly believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross and rose again for you.
2. Take Him into your life as Lord & Savior and accept His gift of eternal life.
3. Pray this prayer truly believing that the Lord is listening and accepting you as you are now.
"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
Great... You are still you, however now you have the Holy Spirit in you helping you to stay away from sin. BUT... we all fall from time to time. Don't let that keep you from fellowship and closeness to Jesus. Confess you have sinned accept His forgiveness.
